I’m Nils Wilbert, a product and advertising photographer in Berlin. I photograph cosmetics, skincare, make-up and fragrance for beauty brands, companies and agencies. My work includes product photography for lavera and ZOEVA. From clear packshots for an online shop to styled still lifes for a campaign, I shape the lighting, composition and retouching around the product and the brand. I can work from your existing concept or develop the visual direction with you, planning styling and set building around the brief.

A single product, a new skincare range or a make-up launch: we agree on the visual direction, shots and formats before the shoot. This creates a cohesive set of beauty photographs for the channels where you plan to use them.

We define the shots, backgrounds, colours and props. The shot list covers product variations, packaging and the required image formats. We agree on scope, timing, usage rights and the quote in advance.

I photograph your beauty products in the Berlin studio with carefully controlled lighting. Glass, glossy packaging, powders and creamy textures each call for a different lighting approach. We review the photographs against the agreed visual direction.

I retouch the selected images with attention to colour, surfaces and product details. You receive the finished files in the agreed formats for e-commerce, advertising, social media or print.
What to consider when planning a cosmetics product shoot.
I photograph cosmetics, skincare and make-up, including creams, serums, body lotions, lipsticks, mascara, eyeshadow, nail polish and brushes. Fragrance bottles and product ranges are also part of my work. The focus is product photography and still life for your brand.
Yes. For online shops, I create clear product photographs on an agreed background, with cut-outs if required. For beauty campaigns and social media, I create styled images using colour, props and textures. Both types can be planned within one production.
Yes. Swatches, powders, creamy surfaces and packaging details can complement the product photographs. We discuss which qualities you want to show and plan the products and materials needed for those shots.
Yes. You can send your beauty products to the Berlin studio by prior arrangement. We agree on quantities, condition, shipping dates and returns during the briefing. Texture shots or opened packaging may require additional samples.
The cost depends on the number of products and shots, styling, retouching requirements and usage rights. Send me a product list, the intended use and any references, and I will prepare a quote for your production.
File formats, resolutions and crops are tailored to the intended use, such as product detail pages, shop banners, social ads or print. We agree on usage rights before the shoot and specify them in the quote.
