I’m Nils, a product and advertising photographer based in Berlin. I create product imagery for brands, companies and agencies that want more than simply beautiful pictures. My focus is on presenting products so they are easy to understand, clearly stand out and feel true to the brand – in e-commerce, campaigns and wider brand communication. Depending on the project, I work from an existing concept or develop the visual idea with you. From lighting and set building through to the final retouch, the work stays in my hands.

What kinds of products do you photograph?
I photograph products from a wide range of fields, including cosmetics, food, technology, accessories and lifestyle. What matters to me is how a product needs to be presented to suit the brand and its intended use. For specific requirements, I develop a tailored visual solution.
Can I send products to the studio?
Yes. You can send products to my studio in Berlin or drop them off by arrangement. After production, I can return them on request; shipping costs in both directions are covered by the client.
What does working together look like?
After your enquiry, I clarify the essentials with you: the purpose of the images, where they will be used, the visual style, scope and schedule. From there, I create a clear process from preparation and shooting through to the final files. Depending on the project, I work from an existing concept or develop the visual idea with you.
Do you offer retouching and post-production?
Yes. I handle the professional retouching and final finishing of every image, with accurate colour, precise detail and files prepared for web, social media or print.
How long does production take?
I can often complete smaller productions within a few days. Larger projects require more preparation and coordination. Before production starts, you receive a realistic schedule so you can plan with confidence.
Where is the studio?
My studio is in Berlin Wedding at Genter Straße 67 a. Products can arrive by post or direct delivery, and personal appointments are possible by arrangement.
Do you only work in Berlin?
No. My studio is in Berlin and products can easily be shipped to me. On-location productions are also possible throughout Germany and across Europe.
What information do you need before a project starts?
For an initial assessment, I need information about the product, the number of products and images, their intended use, any brand guidelines and your preferred schedule. References or visual examples are helpful but not essential.
What does product photography cost?
The cost depends on the number of images, the production effort and the intended usage. After a short brief, I prepare an individual, transparent fixed-price quote.
