Define the brief.
We discuss the products, visual style, number of images, intended uses and timing. I then prepare a quote for the planned production.

I’m Nils Wilbert, a product and advertising photographer based in Berlin. I photograph products for brands, companies and agencies – from cosmetics and beauty to food and drinks, technology, jewellery, eyewear and other products. The images are made for online shops, campaigns, social media and print. Depending on the project, I work from an existing concept or develop the visual idea with you. I handle photography, lighting and retouching, and plan styling and set building around the brief.

From the first conversation to the final image files, we clarify what the images are for and how they should be made.

For online shops, I photograph products so their shape, materials and details are easy to see. Still lifes and campaign images also draw on set design, lighting and a visual idea. We agree on the images needed before production.
When a project needs several images, I plan the series with individual products, group compositions and details. I consider formats and crops during the shoot so the images work where they are intended to appear.
